**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Customer Care Specialist to join our team in North Carolina. As a remote representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, and promoting energy efficiency programs. **Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Care Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
* Answering incoming customer telephone calls and logging all calls
* Working across multiple programs and phone lines, with the ability to transfer calls
* Promoting participation in energy efficiency programs that customers may qualify for
* Addressing and resolving customer inquiries, regarding products, services, billing, etc.
* Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with customers by ensuring a high level of customer service
* Addressing and resolving customer complaints and making recommendations
* Making outgoing calls to customers for scheduling appointments, taking surveys, and promoting a program offering to qualifying customers
* Following up on customer calls not immediately resolved
* Providing accurate and timely information regarding the status of customers' applications and rebate checks
* Entering all required information into computerized systems to create and maintain the customer database
* Providing inside support to Program Manager, Energy Engineers, and Energy Advisors as needed
* Communicating with customers via alternative media
* Maintaining high attendance and punctuality standards
**Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A High School diploma or equivalent
* An Associate's Degree - Preferred
* 1-2 years of previous customer service experience
* Proficient in English and Spanish - Preferred
