**Job Summary**
As a Customer Care Representative I at arenaflex, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, handling a variety of incoming calls with professionalism and expertise. You'll be trained to handle complex inquiries independently or with minimal assistance, adhering to Pennsylvania Utility Commission (PUC) rules and regulations, as well as arenaflex policies and procedures. This role requires a proactive and solution-oriented individual who can work well independently and adhere to a strict schedule.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Handle customer calls in a timely and professional manner, following company-provided procedures and ensuring accurate information is provided to the customer
* Demonstrate an understanding of policies and procedures to respond to customer calls, while striving for reduction in the need for supervisor callbacks
* Participate in voluntary and mandatory training opportunities
* Assist with floor training and/or shadowing opportunities when needed
* Complete special assignments as needed in a timely manner
* Responsible time and attendance
* Participate in mandatory and voluntary overtime as needed
**Training and Support**
During the virtual training period (6 weeks) and hybrid post-training support (3 weeks), you'll work a standard schedule of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. After completing the initial training period, you'll be eligible to work various shifts (determined by the department's shift selection policy) and may be required to work overtime on an as-needed basis.
**Incentives and Career Growth**
* Start rate of $19.00 an hour
* Trainee incentive up to $500 after successful completion of training and $500 after 3 months of independent call-taking
* Eligible for additional incentives up to $250 a month for achieving or exceeding all scorecard metrics
* Annual performance review and merit increase after one year of service
* Eligible for promotion consideration after 2 years of service and demonstrated successful progression and performance
**Requirements**
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service environment preferred
* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* High level capacity for multitasking independently and on a computer
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation
* Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
* Experience with SAP CRM and ECC systems a plus
* Previous experience working for a utility company a plus
* Thorough understanding and adherence to PUC rules/regulations, including Chapter 56 and Chapter 14, along with arenaflex policies/procedures a plus
