**Job Summary**
As a Customer Advocate I, you'll work in a fast-paced call center environment, responding to member inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. You'll be responsible for conducting research, analyzing information, and making independent decisions to provide accurate and objective solutions. This role requires excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Respond to member inquiries via telephone and written communication in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner
* Conduct research to resolve member issues and provide accurate solutions
* Analyze information and make independent decisions to resolve member inquiries
* Spend approximately 90% of scheduled time on the phone, with regular breaks and opportunities for rest
* Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of arenaflex products and services
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex member issues
* Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent
* 6 months of customer service experience or 6 months of experience in an office environment
* Data entry and/or typing experience
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
* Analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions
* Ability to spend approximately 90% of scheduled time on the phone, with regular breaks and opportunities for rest
**Preferred Qualifications**
* 9 months of customer service experience
* Experience working with various lines of business, including CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management
* Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
* Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
* Referral preference given to applicants able to take and meet testing criteria
