**Job Summary**
As a Customer Advocate I at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional member experiences through prompt, accurate, and objective responses to telephone and written inquiries. Under supervision, you will work in a call center environment, conducting research, and spending approximately 85% of your scheduled time on the phone, according to business needs. **Key Responsibilities**
* Respond to telephone and written inquiries from members and physicians in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner
* Conduct research to resolve member inquiries and provide solutions
* Spend approximately 85% of scheduled time on the phone, according to business needs
* Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of arenaflex's products and services
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex member issues
* Maintain accurate records and documentation of member interactions
* Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance customer service skills and product knowledge
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent
* 6 months of customer service experience or 6 months of experience in an office environment
* Data entry and/or typing experience
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
* Analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to make independent decisions
* Ability to spend approximately 90% of scheduled time on the phone, according to business needs, and sit for long periods with scheduled breaks
**Preferred Qualifications**
* 9 months of customer service experience
* Experience working with various lines of business, including CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management
* Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
* Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
* Referral preference given to applicants able to take and meet testing criteria
