We're looking for a highly skilled and empathetic Concierge Customer Service Representative to provide top-notch support to our customers. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. **Responsibilities**
As a Concierge Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on our customers' lives. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Responding to telephone and email inquiries from customers in a timely and professional manner
* Negotiating with providers to gain acceptance for plans without network agreements and/or out of network providers
* Assisting customers with benefits and healthcare questions, providing clear and concise information
* Documenting all calls received in our system-based call log
* Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve customer satisfaction
* Staying up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes to provide expert guidance to customers
* Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
**Requirements and Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, with 2 years of college or higher education preferred
* At least 1 year of experience in customer service or call center environments, preferably in a healthcare-related role
* Medical intake or Third-Party Administrator (TPA) experience is a plus
* Bilingual English-Spanish skills are a plus
* Strong customer relations, interpersonal, and communication skills
* Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
* Proficiency in Microsoft applications, with strong computer skills and navigation
* Excellent data entry and typing skills
* Knowledge of provider organizations and networks
* Understanding of CMS Medicare reimbursement rates
* Ability to negotiate rate structures and resolve complex issues
* Independent judgment and decision-making skills
* Strong analytical and research skills
* Ability to multi-task and anticipate potential needs/problems
* Medical terminology knowledge
* Strong attention to detail
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience in claim processing, insurance verification, or pre-certification
* Understanding of Self-Funded health benefits
* Provider office/facility billing department or financial area experience
**Work Environment and Physical Demands**
This position is a remote opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home office. You'll need to have a dedicated workspace with a reliable internet connection and standard office equipment. The role requires prolonged sitting in front of a computer, with hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment.
**Compensation and Benefits**
arenaflex offers a competitive salary range of $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on experience. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
