**Job Summary**
As an Experienced Chat Operator, you'll be responsible for engaging in online conversations with customers, representing our automotive dealer clients favorably. Your goal will be to turn conversations into leads that help our clients generate revenue. If you're a quick thinker, a great communicator, and a team player, we want to hear from you!
**Key Responsibilities**
* Engage in online conversations with customers via live chat, email, or phone
* Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
* Use your gaming experience to create a fun and engaging experience for customers
* Meet or exceed performance metrics, including response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores
* Collaborate with our team to develop and implement strategies that drive customer engagement and revenue growth
* Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
**Requirements**
* Must live within the state of Pennsylvania
* Must have your own computer or laptop with a webcam, second monitor, microphone, and external mouse
* Computer must have a minimum of 8 GB of RAM, 64-bit Operating System, and 8th Generation Intel Core (i3 equivalent or higher)
* Quiet, dedicated work space free from distractions – this is a remote position
* Able to attend 4 weeks of remote training, Tuesday – Saturday between the hours of 11am-7:30pm EDT
* Must be able to type at least 35 WPM, 40 and above is preferred
* Gaming experience is preferred
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
* 1-2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance metrics
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience in the automotive industry or a related field
* Knowledge of CRM software and customer relationship management principles
* Experience with live chat software and online customer support platforms
* Certification in customer service or a related field
**Skills and Competencies**
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance metrics
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong typing skills (at least 35 WPM)
* Gaming experience and knowledge of online gaming communities
* Ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems quickly
