**Job Summary:**
We're seeking a highly motivated and organized Chat Moderator to join our remote team. As a Chat Moderator, you'll be responsible for ensuring our Discord community adheres to our rules and guidelines. **Key Responsibilities:**
* Moderate the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring a positive and respectful environment for all users
* Delete messages that violate our community guidelines and rules
* Ban users who repeatedly break our rules, after thorough investigation and due process
* Mute users who have violated our rules, to prevent further disruption
* Investigate reports from users about potential rule violations, and take necessary actions
* Collaborate with our team to develop and implement community guidelines and rules
* Provide excellent customer service and support to our community members
* Stay up-to-date with careerzynith's policies and procedures, and adapt to changes as needed
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Must be 18 years of age or older
* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
* Familiarity with Discord and online community management
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience in community management, moderation, or customer service
* Knowledge of online safety and security best practices
* Familiarity with careerzynith's products and services (computer programming courses, social media app, and bank account)
* Experience with conflict resolution and mediation

* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
