We're not just a company – we're a community of like-minded individuals who are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what's possible. **The Role** As a Business Intelligence Engineer on our Defect Elimination Analytics team, you'll play a critical role in helping us drive defect elimination and improve customer satisfaction. You'll work closely with our software developers, data engineers, research scientists, economists, program and product managers to provide insights on customer feedback, create key performance indicators (KPIs) for our products, and assist in feature engineering and model development. Your expertise will be essential in helping us identify areas for improvement and develop data-driven solutions to drive business growth. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, and other data visualizations to support business decision-making * Partner with operations, business teams, economists, and machine learning teams to consult, develop, and implement KPIs, automated reporting and process solutions, and data infrastructure improvements to meet business needs * Develop the end-to-end automation of pipelines for applications and machine learning models * Apply analytical skills to extract meaningful insights and learnings from large and complicated data sets * Serve as a liaison with business and technical teams to achieve project objectives, requiring data gathering, problem-solving, modeling, and communication of insights and recommendations **A Day in the Life** As a Business Intelligence Engineer on our team, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from developing data visualizations to creating predictive models. You'll collaborate with a talented team of engineers, scientists, and economists to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction. You'll also have the chance to work on cutting-edge technologies, including big data, machine learning, and data visualization. **Essential Qualifications** * 3+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc. * Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools * Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines * Experience in statistical analysis packages such as R, SAS, and Matlab * Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling * Experience writing complex SQL queries * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics) **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift * Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets **Work Environment and Culture** Our team is fast-paced and dynamic, with a strong focus on collaboration and innovation.
