Job Overview: Associate Principal (Solutions Architect) - Power BI
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Associate Principal (Solutions Architect) with a strong background in Power BI and Power Apps to join our dynamic team. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to balance your time between our office in Chesterfield, MO, and remote work from home. As a Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, modifying, debugging, and evaluating programs for functional or operational areas, leveraging your technical expertise to solve complex business problems with automated systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business problems to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Design, develop, modify, debug, and evaluate programs to meet user requirements and business needs.
- Provide technical leadership and expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing cost-effective systems and procedures.
- Develop conversion and system implementation plans, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to operations.
- Prepare and obtain approval of system and programming documentation, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
- Configure system settings and options, plan and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing, and create specifications for systems to meet business requirements.

Essential Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Twelve (12) years of relevant technical or business work experience, with a focus on software development, solutions architecture, or a related field.
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in computer science, information technology, or a similar discipline.
- Extensive experience along the full software development life cycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Proficiency in Power BI, with experience in building canvas Power Apps and model-driven Power Apps.
- Familiarity with Dataverse and Power Automate, as well as understanding of data modeling for business applications.
- Power Platform Fundamentals and App Maker certification is highly desirable, showcasing your expertise and commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest technologies.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
While not required, the following qualifications and skills are highly valued:
- Advanced degree in a related field, such as a Master's in Computer Science or Information Technology.
