If you're a team player with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service, we encourage you to apply. **Responsibilities** As an Airport Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include: * Greeting and assisting all customers in a prompt, friendly, and courteous manner over the phone and in person * Announcing both incoming and outbound flights * Handling credit card and personal check transactions with accuracy and properly accounting for all collections and conducting the appropriate airline close-out procedures * Accepting and processing checked baggage weighing up to 100 lbs. and placed on conveyor belts * Operating jetways to place them in position prior to aircraft arrival and lifting, opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors * Using airline computer systems to provide flight arrival and departure information, ticketing and flight boarding documents, lost or damaged baggage documentation, and cargo tracking information * Escorting unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers throughout the airport * Working independently without direct supervision **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: * Be at least 18 years of age * Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience, and a high degree of attention to detail * Be able to read, speak, and understand the English language * Possess good communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality in person and via telephone * Have entry-level computer skills * Occasionally lift bags or items weighing between 50 and 70 pounds * Pass an extensive post-offer pre-employment background check, including fingerprinting and a criminal history record check required by federal law * Be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays **Essential Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following essential skills and competencies: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with time constraints * High level of attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to work independently without direct supervision * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 70 pounds) * Ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 4 hours) **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: * Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the airport or travel industry * Knowledge of airline computer systems and procedures * Ability to speak multiple languages * Certification in customer service or a related field **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we believe in investing in our employees' growth and development.
