Position: Expeditor I Expeditor I / II Drive and track all pre‑delivery document submittals in accordance with the contract and project schedule. Use initiative to source and close document submittal issues, prioritize outstanding supplier documents, and conduct weekly analysis of supplier documentation performance. Coordinate with suppliers, engineering, and project teams via weekly calls and meetings, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to contract milestones. Responsibilities • Perform all expeditor duties per the Project Expediting Standard Operating Procedure, focusing on document submittals. • Run expediting calls with suppliers and project team to support assigned packages and document status. • Provide updates to the project team on deliverables according to the contract to support Advanced Work Packaging. • Attend weekly project meetings. • Perform expediting activities associated with ensuring on‑time delivery of equipment/material and documentation. • Prepare meeting agendas and publish minutes as required. • Embed in fabrication facilities or job sites as needed. • Travel up to 25% of the time for home office positions. Qualifications • High School Diploma or GED. • 1–3 years relevant work experience. • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, Excel, Outlook, Word). • Critical thinking/problem solving skills. • Effective verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work independently with minimal direction. • Ability to recognize timelines and deadlines to prioritize work. Preferred Qualifications • Associate or bachelor’s degree. • 2–5 years of relevant experience. • Expediting experience in large industrial construction projects. • Experience leading and managing others. • Experience/working knowledge of Oracle. • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Work Environment Employee will work in multiple environments including an office, warehouse, and trailer or building on sites. Noise levels on work sites may be moderate to high, with potential exposure to light to heavy equipment vehicles, materials, communication equipment, and tools. Typical tasks involve standing, walking, sitting, signaling, and interacting with colleagues. The above description covers the fundamental responsibilities of the Expediting position.
