**Key Responsibilities:**
* Perform a critical part of the patient care process by accurately receiving and routing laboratory specimens for testing
* Data enter lab requests, double-check test orders, and recognize when corrective action is needed to ensure accurate and timely results
* Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and adhere to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements
* Champion safety, compliance, and quality control to maintain the highest standards of patient care
* Contribute to the success of our team by providing exceptional support and assistance to patients and colleagues
**Essential Qualifications:**
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills to accurately process and enter data
* Typing proficiency, including 10-key, to efficiently manage data entry tasks
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
* Data entry experience in a production environment to enhance efficiency and accuracy
**Skills and Competencies:**
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines
