- 90% remote - attend key weekly meetings and all staff gatherings in-office near Tigard.
- Flexible full-time schedule: 32-40 hours/week, Mondays-Fridays.
- Make a meaningful impact by helping prospective clients get the support they need.
- Temp-to-hire with the intent of long-term placement.
SALARY: $45,000-$60,000/year DOE
SCHEDULE: Full-time, 32-40 hours/week, Mon-Fri
DURATION: Temp-to-hire with long-term placement goalKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform intake interviews and assess cases based on firm criteria.
- Run conflict checks, collect documentation, and prepare for attorney review.
- Draft engagement letters, manage meeting calendars, and coordinate client follow-up.
- Set up new clients in billing and document systems; track pending matters.
- Maintain digital records; support phones and administrative overflow as needed.
- 3-5 years of legal experience in a support role, especially in estate planning/probate litigation.
- Experience in client intake, legal assistant, or junior paralegal roles.
- Excellent communication skills, reliability, and a professional, client-ready demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and high scores on spelling/proofreading tests.
- Tech-savvy with MS 365, Excel, and cloud-based systems.
- This office position involves walking and work seated at a desk, including typing, reaching, bending, and regular use of a computer and other office equipment.
