What you will do:
The Test Lead will develop test strategies, test readiness evaluations, test plans, and test cases to align with program requirements. You will drive teams to execute test activities with various team members and stakeholders, track test progress, track defects and escalate issues. This position will involve developing strategic test approaches, which may include implementation of third-party solutions or tools. The Test Lead will be expected to document and adhere to test management processes and best practices to ensure all tasks, activities, and resources are aligned to meet the overall program and organizational goals.
• Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans.
• Oversee the creation of test cases (automated and manual).
• Coordinate unit, integration, regression and UAT testing phases.
• Define test scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with functional and technical teams
• Manage test environments, data preparation, and test execution schedules.
• Lead defect triage meetings, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and organizational QA standards.
• Provide status reports and metrics to stakeholders and project leadership.
• Collaborate with business users, consultants, and offshore teams to ensure test coverage and readiness.
• Drive test progress to adhere to overall project timeline.
• Resource management and allocation, understanding test team workload, potential resource constraints, and ensure optimal resource utilization throughout the lifecycle of the test phase.
• Proactive risk management: identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor potential risks with real-time alerts for critical issues.
• Communicate expectations and instill accountability in test team members.
• Resolve conflicts, promote work sharing, and motivate teams toward common goals.
• Manage multiple test activities, tasks and resources through effective organization prioritization, and time management practices to meet program objectives.
• Additional responsibilities include documentation, stakeholder communication, and identifying areas for improvement to enhance quality and efficiency of testing activities.
You are the ideal candidate if you have experience managing test phases for large scale, complex programs and projects related to business process and system transformation, ideally ERP implementation using SAP’s S4 HANA solution.
Qualifications You Must Have:
• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience OR in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools such as qTest, ALM or similar tools.
• Experience in cross-functional testing coordination across different workstreams, including management of onsite-offshore testing teams and alignment of deliverables.
• Prior involvement in SAP upgrade or implementation projects.
• Experience with multiple methodologies including waterfall and agile Scrum methodology.
• Ability to travel ~ 25%-50% to other major RTX US sites (ex. Farmington, Richardson, Cedar Rapids, and Charlotte).

Role Type: Remote
This position is currently designated as remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories). Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
