Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the Environmental Services department, including staffing, scheduling, and training. Develop, implement, and monitor cleaning and sanitation programs in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory standards. Manage the procurement and inventory of all cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens. Conduct regular quality assurance inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all staff. Collaborate with other department heads to address guest feedback and resolve any sanitation-related issues. Develop and manage the departmental budget, seeking cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in environmental services and sanitation. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Environmental Health, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in environmental services management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity within the hospitality industry. In-depth knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, infection control principles, and hazardous material handling. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of service professionals. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in budget management and inventory control. Must be adaptable to flexible work schedules, including evenings and weekends, as required by business needs in Los Angeles, California .
