About the position We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and creative individual to join our team as a Part-Time Enrichment Specialist for Older Adults. In this role, you will help create and facilitate engaging activities and support programs aimed at improving the social, emotional, and mental well-being of older adults. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with older populations and experience in creating meaningful, accessible programs that promote inclusivity, and connection. Responsibilities • Design and facilitate social, educational, and recreational programs tailored to the interests, abilities, and needs of older adults. • Build rapport with older adults and their families to encourage engagement. • Offer individual support and companionship to seniors, helping them connect with what’s important (meaningful) to them and stay mentally and emotionally engaged. • Track the success of engagement efforts, adjusting activities based on feedback and the evolving needs of participants. • Work with other staff members, caregivers (care partners/family), and volunteers to coordinate and enhance engagement efforts. • Keep accurate records of participant engagement, preferences, and feedback for reporting purposes and future program improvements.
