Engineer, Regional Operations

Role & Responsibilities:     Position Definition (Key Purpose of the Position): As part of the Global Materials Sourcing (GMS) Team, the Regional Operations Engineer Underfoot Platforms will execute seasonal process audit activities related to underfoot Production facilities.  These include Mold and compound transfers, seasonal mold and SOP checks, quality assessments, raw materials adherence, storage check, production capacity, lab controls, and inspecting components for high impact NPI programs.   Regional Operations Engineer will support VF’s partners in the creation of an appropriate corrective action plan, addressing all issues highlighted during SCP process audits.  Monitor and track compliance against the CAP, analyzing and communicating risks in cases of non-compliance, finalizing and reporting as CAP issues are closed.  The Regional Operations Engineer will undertake regular on-site visits to suppliers’ facilities to monitor adherence to manufacturing SOPs and reporting all issues of non-compliance.   The Process Improvement Engineer will be accountable for maintaining and distributing the Underfoot Platforms color standards.      Competency Requirements:     Behavioral Competencies  (Please refer to VF guiding principles and Leadership Profiles)  Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)  Able to operate within a matrixed and culturally diverse environment  Strong working independently but with the ability to collaborate x-functionally   Detail orientated, quality mindset  Process and systems driven   Strong learning agility    Functional Competencies  List down specific set of functional skills required to perform in this role   High level of understanding of mold making, materials and maintenance processes   Good understanding of quality systems and processes   Basic data and analytical skills    Experience  Minimum Relevant Experience:    Experience in Underfoot Operations and Engineering in Footwear, Areo-space, auto-motive and/or medical devise industries     Minimum Supervisory Experience:   N/A    Nature of Work:   Engineering    Academic Qualifications    Minimum Degree Held: Bachelor’s degree, College graduate or equivalent work experience   Subject Expert In: Operations Engineering   Certifications Required:  N/A    Team Structure:    Separately provided    Specific Working Conditions    Frequency of Travel:      Frequent local and domestic travel within Asia  R-20260527-0025
