Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator / Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately estimating electrical projects, managing project execution from inception to completion, and ensuring all work aligns with client specifications, safety standards, and budget parameters. You will leverage your electrical expertise and construction management skills to deliver high-quality results on time and within scope. Responsibilities • Prepare comprehensive electrical estimates by analyzing project plans, specifications, and bid documents using industry-standard software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam. • Conduct detailed cost analysis, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor quotes to develop accurate pricing strategies. • Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to secure favorable terms while maintaining quality standards. • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and safety regulations. • Oversee construction site activities, ensuring adherence to design plans, quality standards, and safety protocols while coordinating with construction management teams. • Monitor project progress through regular site visits, inspections, and progress reports; implement cost control measures to stay within budget. • Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to resolve issues promptly and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications • Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong background in electrical systems and project management. • Proficiency in construction estimating software such as HeavyBid; experience with Bluebeam is highly desirable. • Solid understanding of NEC (National Electrical Code), contracts, and construction management principles. • Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and clients to achieve optimal outcomes. • Extensive electrical experience combined with construction site experience; familiarity with construction management processes is essential. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills for collaborating across teams and presenting technical information clearly.
