Key Responsibilities
Design electrical systems for healthcare, higher education, commercial, hospitality, laboratory, and pharmaceutical facilities
Prepare designs for lighting, power distribution, emergency power, low-voltage, and fire alarm systems
Perform electrical load calculations, short circuit studies, equipment sizing, and infrastructure assessments
Conduct field surveys and existing conditions investigations
Prepare construction drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit
Support construction administration activities and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
Lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and participate in client meetings
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
8+ years of electrical engineering design experience in an MEP consulting firm, AE firm, design-build contractor, or similar environment
Experience designing building electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and emergency power
Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
Healthcare project experience strongly preferred
PE license preferred
