Job Description:
• Shares responsibility for the performance of work and oversight of all contract matters relating to daily operations of this contract
• Assists the Distribution Project Manager with tracking, reporting, purchasing and other administrative duties
• Uses some subject-matter knowledge and judgment to complete assignments consisting of numerous steps varying in nature and sequence
• Under general supervision of higher-level personnel, including but not limited to, the Distribution Project Manager
• Shall have the ability to deploy globally in support of emerging requirements, within 48 hours of notification
• Serves as primary government point of contract when Distribution Project Manager is not available
• Assists in managing day-to-day execution and oversight
• Ensures compliance, performance and reporting requirements are met successfully
• Designated POC in direct oversight and subcontractor management as directed by Program leadership
• Shares in overseeing all scheduling of personnel / work supervision / quality control
• Monitors cost control, financial reports, budgeting, and overall operating costs
• Recommends, develops, implements, and enforces procedures/programs to increase efficiency and improve cost effectiveness to the program
Requirements:
• Must have an active Secret government security clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent five (5) years of Government or private-sector work experience
• 3+ years of experience in logistics or contingency operations management supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA)
• One-year previous supervisory experience, preferably in a government contract environment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Valid US or local driver's license and US passport
• As needed, ability to successfully pass any medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of any deployment
