We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented candidate to support our daily transportation and logistics operations. This is a remote/work-from-home position only open to candidates currently residing in Idaho.
Role is part-time M-F from 9 am - 2 pm.
In this integral role, you will support our operations by:
• Accept customer orders and enter shipment data
• Scheduling appointments
• Updating customers
• Tracking pickups & deliveries
• Maintaining contact with carriers throughout the shipment, coordinating route changes, road conditions, road closures and driver availability to determine routing changes
• Working with customers to modify routes or deliveries
• Communicating late pickups and/or deliveries as well as any other load changes
• Responding to issues by resolving driver or delivery problems
• Supporting other staff as needed
Requirements
• Ability to work independently and make decisions
• Demonstrated analytical, interpersonal and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail; ability to find errors and correct
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Previous data entry experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask, troubleshoot and work under pressure
• Ability to type 40 wpm and 10-Key a plus
• Must have intermediate Outlook, Excel, MS Word skills
• Punctual, self-motivated, and a professional demeanor
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to multitask and manage time
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work within a team
