Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Talent Acquisition & People Operations to lead their HR initiatives in **Minneapolis, Minnesota, US**. This role will oversee all aspects of recruitment, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding and retention, while also playing a key role in shaping People Operations strategies. You will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative talent acquisition strategies to attract top-tier candidates across various departments. This includes managing the full recruitment lifecycle, optimizing employer branding, and leveraging various channels to build a robust talent pipeline. In addition, you will contribute to the development and execution of HR policies, programs, and initiatives that foster a positive and productive work environment. This includes managing employee relations, compensation and benefits programs, performance management, and HR compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and a passion for creating exceptional employee experiences. You will work closely with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives and drive organizational growth. This hybrid role requires a balance of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility, allowing you to connect with colleagues while maintaining productivity. The Director will be a key player in building and scaling the organization through effective human capital management. You will also be responsible for analyzing HR data to identify trends, measure program effectiveness, and make data-driven recommendations. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to meet organizational needs. Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection. Build and maintain a strong employer brand to attract high-caliber candidates. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with company goals and legal requirements. Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions. Administer compensation, benefits, and performance management programs. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws. Analyze HR data and metrics to provide insights and recommendations to leadership. Foster a positive and inclusive company culture. Lead and mentor the HR team. Manage onboarding and offboarding processes. Partner with leadership on organizational design and workforce planning. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record in talent acquisition and people operations. In-depth knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices. Experience with HRIS and ATS systems. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Experience in a hybrid work environment. SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification is a plus.
