Our client, a rapidly growing enterprise in Orlando, Florida , is seeking an inspirational Director of Talent Acquisition & Development to build and lead their human resources function. This executive role is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive strategies for attracting, recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent across all levels of the organization. You will be instrumental in shaping the company's culture and ensuring it has the skilled workforce necessary to achieve its strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the full talent lifecycle, from employer branding and sourcing strategies to onboarding, performance management, and leadership development. You will be responsible for developing and managing the HR budget, selecting and implementing HR technology solutions, and ensuring compliance with all labor laws and regulations. This position requires exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. You will partner closely with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business goals, foster a positive and inclusive work environment, and drive employee engagement and retention initiatives. Experience in developing and executing succession planning programs and comprehensive training curricula is highly valued. The ability to translate business needs into effective HR programs is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a strategic talent acquisition plan to meet current and future staffing needs. Oversee the entire recruitment process, from sourcing and interviewing to offer negotiation and onboarding. Implement and manage performance management systems and processes. Design and deliver comprehensive employee development and training programs. Develop and maintain a strong employer brand to attract high-caliber candidates. Lead succession planning initiatives to ensure a pipeline of future leaders. Manage employee relations, ensuring a fair and consistent application of HR policies. Oversee HR compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws. Administer compensation and benefits programs. Partner with senior leadership to drive organizational change and employee engagement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or PHR/SPHR certification preferred. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years in a leadership role focused on talent acquisition and development. Proven track record of success in building and scaling HR functions. Expertise in recruitment strategies, talent management, and learning & development. Strong knowledge of HRIS, ATS, and other HR technologies. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to influence and advise senior executives.
