The Director, Enterprise Systems leads Brighton Jones' technology operations, engineering oversight, and platform capability. You'll lead a team spanning engineering (through an Engineering Manager), system infrastructure, networking, cloud platform, enterprise systems (M365, identity, SSO), InfoSec, IT support, procurement, and AI infrastructure. You'll also own the relationships and performance of our managed service and managed security service partners.
This role is structured for an operator who can scale a technology function inside a growing, regulated firm. This role reports to the Chief Client Officer.

What You’ll Own:
Day-to-day leadership of the Enterprise Systems team across engineering, infrastructure, networking, cloud platform, enterprise systems, IT support, InfoSec, procurement, and AI infrastructure
System infrastructure and networking, including LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, endpoint management, and office connectivity across all Brighton Jones locations
Enterprise systems administration and roadmap, including Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive), identity and access management, SSO, MFA, and conditional access
Cloud platform operations across Azure and supporting SaaS infrastructure
MSP and MSSP vendor relationships and performance accountability
Technology operations, infrastructure roadmap, and platform strategy
Cross-functional execution with the Head of Product, Data & Systems, and Client Service / Revenue Operations
Procurement and vendor lifecycle management for technology contracts
InfoSec governance, audit response, and regulatory readiness (SEC, SOC 2)
Endpoint, device, and access lifecycle management for a hybrid workforce
Resource allocation across competing priorities
What You Bring:
10+ years of technology leadership experience with progressive responsibility
Financial services experience preferred (wealth management, RIA, asset management, or adjacent)
Demonstrated success managing hybrid teams across internal staff and MSP/MSSP partners
Hands-on fluency with enterprise systems (M365, Entra ID/Azure AD, SSO, MFA), networking fundamentals, and cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred)
Engineering fluency: you don't write code, but you understand it and respect technical depth
Experience managing $1M+ vendor relationships with clear accountability
Comfort operating in audit, compliance, and regulatory conversations
Track record of delivering in resource-constrained environments
Strong executive communication and the ability to translate technical risk into business terms

Compensation:
Targeted base salary range is $165,000 - $190,000 per year.
