Job Description:
• The Director of Content (Conference & Educational Programs) leads the strategy, development, and management of content for the organization’s programs (conferences, workshops, briefings, webinars), and training programs.
• This role ensures programming is relevant, innovative, and aligned with industry and BAFT’s priorities.
• Oversee agenda development for BAFT conferences, briefings, webinars and workshops, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
• Collaborate with members and subject matter experts to secure high-quality content and speakers.
• Develop learning objectives, course outlines, and materials for on-demand and custom training.
• Partner with project managers and instructional designers on course production, delivery, and evaluation.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in business, education, or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in program content development, professional learning, or conference/educational programming (association or financial services experience strongly preferred).
• Strong knowledge of the transaction banking industry, including international trade and cross-border payments, with an established network of industry contacts, preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to set strategic direction for content and educational initiatives.
• Proven ability to manage multiple programs, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Familiarity with adult learning principles and professional development trends; understanding of instructional design workflows (preferred, not required).
