Digital Producer, Political Show for Midterm Elections Overview We are seeking a Digital Producer for a fast-paced political show covering the midterm elections across key swing states. This role will be instrumental in executing our digital and social strategy, producing real-time content, and driving audience engagement leading up to Election Day. Key Responsibilities • Produce, clip, and distribute high-impact content across digital platforms in real time • Manage and support live streaming workflows (YouTube, social platforms, and web integrations) • Create and edit video content using Adobe Premiere, optimized for digital and social audiences • Collaborate with editorial, production, and social teams to align messaging and coverage • Monitor live broadcasts and quickly identify moments for clipping, publishing, and amplification • Write compelling, platform-optimized titles, descriptions, and metadata • Assist in managing website updates, including publishing articles, videos, and election-related content • Support second-screen and interactive experiences (polling, QR integrations, etc.) • Track performance and optimize content based on platform analytics and audience behavior Qualifications • 4+ years of experience in digital production, preferably in news, politics, or live programming • Strong understanding of the U.S. political landscape and a passion for election coverage • Hands-on experience with live streaming tools and workflows • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (required) • Experience managing and publishing across social platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X, etc.) • Familiarity with CMS platforms and website publishing • Strong editorial judgment and ability to move quickly under tight deadlines • Excellent communication and collaboration skills Preferred • Experience with real-time audience engagement tools (e.g., live chat, polling, second-screen experiences) • Knowledge of FAST channels, AVOD, or digital distribution strategies • Experience working in a live control room or broadcast environment What Success Looks Like • Timely, high-performing content that captures key election moments • Seamless execution of live streams and digital extensions • Growth in engagement and viewership across platforms during the election cycle • Strong collaboration across teams to deliver cohesive, impactful coverage Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
