Digital Media Assistant

About the Role We believe every couple deserves a seamless, beautifully delivered memory of their special day. As a Media Assistant, you will be the operational heartbeat of our Production department — keeping photographer deliveries on track, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring every gallery and video reaches our clients on time and with care. This is a behind-the-scenes role with real impact. Our production team handles between 10 to 40 weddings per weekend, so this is a high-volume, fast-paced environment that rewards candidates who are organized, proactive, and calm under pressure. You will be working closely with the Photography Post-Production Manager and Video Post-Production Manager. Key Responsibilities File Upload Management • Monitor and verify photographer uploads after each event • Follow up promptly on late or missing submissions • Troubleshoot upload issues and escalate when necessary • Review and process payment request submissions from photographers Editing & Deadline Tracking • Track editing and revision deadlines across all active projects • Flag delays to the Production Manager proactively • Assist with light editing tasks using Adobe Lightroom and Topaz • Select and tag marketable images with a discerning creative eye Gallery Preparation & Delivery • Prepare client galleries for delivery — naming conventions, settings, and client details • Organize and upload web-sized galleries to designated Dropbox folders • Add and manage venue and style tags on a daily basis (e.g., beach wedding, ballroom, forest, etc.) • Investigate flagged quality issues including time-sync errors, blur, and noise Video Delivery & Content Management • Writing video titles and descriptions • Uploading final videos to the Original Wedding YouTube channel • Uploading customized thumbnails to the YouTube channel • Sharing the final video link, blog link, and YouTube link with clients • Upload drone footage to the appropriate Dropbox folders Client & Team Communication • Monitor and respond to team messages in a timely manner • Send reminders to couples for unpaid invoices and editing style selections • Serve as a reliable point of contact between the production team and clients during the delivery process Qualifications • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent deadlines • Comfortable working with large digital files and cloud storage systems (e.g., Dropbox, Google Drive, Iconik) • Experience with Adobe Lightroom or similar photo editing tools preferred • Proficiency with Canva or a basic understanding of thumbnail and graphic design • Familiarity with file naming conventions and digital asset management • Strong written communication skills for professional client-facing correspondence • Basic understanding of video file formats and delivery workflows is a plus Pay: $7.50 per hour Work Location: Remote
