Ciklum is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:
As a DevOps Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.
Responsibilities:
Managing AWS cloud environments, including provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of resources
Implementing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate resource management
Designing and implementing resource tagging strategies to enable cost attribution and governance
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud resources are optimized for performance, security, and cost
Monitoring and analyzing cloud spend, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing FinOps best practices
Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry standards for cloud resource management
Focus on security best practices in cloud environments, including access control, encryption, and network security
Requirements:
AWS Cloud experience, including hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, SQS, Lambda, EKS, MSK, and IAM
Kubernetes experience, including hands-on experience with EKS
Observability awareness, including experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch/Prometheus/Datadog
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform, and experience in writing and maintaining Terraform configurations
Knowledge and experience with Kafka (AWS MSK)
Strong understanding of cloud cost management and FinOps principles, with experience in implementing cost-saving strategies
On-call experience, including incident response and troubleshooting in a cloud environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with remote teams and stakeholders
CI/CD automation experience for Typescript, Kotlin and Ruby programming languages
Compliance regulation awareness (HIPAA, SOC 2, etc.) and experience in implementing best practices and measurements in cloud environments
