Development Director - Network Operations
Note: this is a hybrid role (on-site work required form Orlando, FL. Relocation is not available for this role).

The Operations Lead for the strategic growth team within EA SPORTS, responsible for driving the delivery of complex, highly technical projects from creation to completion. You will bring deep technical project management expertise and work in partnership with the project leadership team, managing operations through the full lifecycle of sophisticated data and platform-driven programs. In this role, you will spearhead a portfolio of cutting-edge capabilities including emerging platform capabilities that will fundamentally shape the future of EA SPORTS partnering closely with our studios to enhance our player and fan experiences.
Your Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain an overall project plan by creating and maintaining resource capacity planning for the project, proactively mitigating production risks, and effectively managing internal and external dependencies.
• Work with production, technical, and leadership teams managing end-to-end delivery of large-scale technical projects including platform capability and efficiency. Own scope, schedule, budget, and quality from kickoff through release.
• Reach ''win-win'' solutions in line with the project goals; achieve consensus within a broad group of stakeholders.
• Participate in risk identification, mitigation, and contingency planning against project priorities. Escalate risks appropriately and effectively.
• Drive effective processes within the team, ensuring workflows are well defined and understood by the whole team. Seek out and define opportunities for process improvements and innovation.
• Identify and lead collaborative efforts across the team and with key stakeholders to affect change.
• Effectively communicate the team's progress and status upward.
Your Qualifications:
• 8+ years of Project Management Experience with production lifecycles, processes and project planning in a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
• Proficiency with Agile and hybrid project management methodologies, with experience facilitating sprint planning, retrospectives, and quarterly goal-setting.
• Familiarity with AI/ML development lifecycles and the unique delivery challenges of building intelligent systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Experience leading teams through complex or undefined problems, aligning partners, and delivering practical solutions.
• Experience with project scheduling, capacity planning, and risk management.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Product Development, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience using Jira or similar work management tools (preferred).
