**Key Responsibilities:**
As a Customer Success Manager, you'll be responsible for:
* Developing positive relationships with customers by providing exceptional customer service, leveraging customer onboarding meetings to set expectations, and understanding individual customer needs.
* Collaborating with the service and applications teams to ensure a seamless installation and training process.
* Working closely with sales, IT, and other departments to connect customers with necessary information and resources.
* Monitoring and tracking customer progress from point of sale to installation, training, and beyond.
* Serving as a single point of contact for customer concerns and advocating for customer needs internally.
* Identifying opportunities to improve customer experience through process, infrastructure, or product changes.
* Traveling up to 30% of the time, primarily in the US, to engage with customers and drive business growth.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
* Advanced degree (M.S./Ph.D.) in Biological Sciences, Material Science Engineering, or Physics; or a similar field with equivalent experience (Bachelors Degree with 10 years of experience considered).
* Experience interacting with customers, service engineers, product marketing managers, and R&D in an advanced technology role.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
* Strong inter-cultural skills and adaptability.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* High-end (Cryo-)Electron Microscopy experience in academia or industry.
* Comfortable working independently and leading customer relationships.
* Project management experience.
**Compensation and Benefits:**

* Salary range: $92,900.00–$130,000.00 (based in Illinois).
