Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the face of our organization, interacting directly with patients to provide top-notch service, answer questions, and resolve issues. Your role will be crucial in promoting generic utilization, therapy changes, and patient education, all while maintaining our reputation for high-quality service. You'll work independently as part of a larger team, leveraging your excellent communication skills and knowledge of healthcare and insurance to make a positive impact on patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapies to patients, with the goal of providing overall savings to patients and clients.
- Work closely with the Specialty Projects Team to conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications.
- Perform adherence outreach efforts to ensure patients stay on their medications and remain compliant with their therapies.
- Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls to patients, clients, and other customers, proactively gathering patient and order information.
- Provide customer education and routine assessment, identifying problems and escalating them to pharmacists as needed.
- Maintain a working knowledge of insurance, healthcare, and reimbursement-related requirements for dispensing and processing new referrals.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- At least 1 year of customer service experience, handling and resolving customer needs over the phone.
- 6 months of high-volume customer service experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or a similar application.
- A verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Residency in the state of Nevada.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following skills and experience can give you a competitive edge:
- Previous experience in a healthcare or insurance setting.
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations, patient adherence, and medication therapy.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
