The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of credentialing processes and have excellent communication and organizational skills. Conduct thorough and accurate credentialing and re-credentialing processes for all healthcare providers within the organization. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all relevant regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with them. Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and internal departments to gather necessary information and resolve any issues that may arise during the credentialing process. Maintain organized and accurate records of all credentialing activities and documentation. Monitor and track expiring credentials and proactively initiate the re-credentialing process to ensure timely renewals. Collaborate with the Credentialing Manager to develop and implement policies and procedures related to credentialing and provider enrollment. Participate in meetings and trainings related to credentialing and regulatory requirements to stay informed and up-to-date. Serve as a resource for healthcare providers and internal staff regarding credentialing and compliance-related inquiries. Identify and escalate any potential issues or concerns related to credentialing to the Credentialing Manager.
