Creative Intern — Fashion, Marketing & Digital Brand
Company: Social Studio The Agency (or placements in other brands)
Location: Hybrid (Remote-Forward with In-Person Collaboration)
Duration: 60-Day Internship (Trial Period with Intent to Convert to Paid Role)
Industry: Fashion • Beauty • Luxury E-Commerce • Marketing • Digital Content
About the Opportunity
We are not looking for someone who knows the rules.
We are looking for someone who makes them.
This is a rare opportunity for a creative mind working at the intersection of fashion, marketing, visual design, and digital culture.
You don’t just consume aesthetics — you architect them.
You have strong taste, a reference library built from years of living online, and the ability to translate a feeling into a visual concept before a brief even exists.
This 60-day internship is designed as a trial period. If the fit is exceptional, the role will transition into a paid ongoing position.
We believe in giving talent the opportunity to prove itself — and to leave with work that genuinely builds their creative portfolio.
Who You Are
You may be the right fit if:
• Your aesthetic is distinct and intentional
• You follow emerging fashion, beauty, and creative brands
• You actively spend time on Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest
• You notice visual trends before they become mainstream
• You have experience in fashion, marketing, visual design, or creative production
• You think in campaigns, concepts, and visual storytelling
• You love luxury fashion, modern branding, and digital culture
• You are extremely organized and detail-oriented
• Your personal social media or portfolio already reflects strong visual taste
• You are passionate about photography, design, styling, and creative direction
• You enjoy creating high-level fashion visuals and brand storytelling
• You stay up to date on trends across fashion, marketing, and social media
Fashion school, design programs, or creative backgrounds are preferred but not required.
What You’ll Do
As a Creative Intern, you will support marketing, content creation, and creative direction across brand projects.
Responsibilities may include:
• Developing creative concepts for campaigns and digital content
• Designing visual assets for social media and marketing
• Creating mood boards, visual briefs, and inspiration references
• Assisting with content planning and campaign ideation
• Producing or assisting with high-level fashion content shoots
• Helping capture photo and video content for social platforms
• Supporting graphic design and visual content creation
• Researching emerging trends in fashion, beauty, and digital culture
• Assisting with social media creative direction and content planning
• Contributing to brand storytelling, captions, and marketing concepts
• Creating presentation decks and visual concept boards
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across design, marketing, and creative production.
Content Production & Collaboration
This role combines digital creative work with real-world production.
Ideal candidates should:
• Be able to participate in high-level content creation and fashion visuals
• Assist with editorial-style photoshoots and content days
• Be comfortable helping produce visual assets for social media and campaigns
• Be available for occasional in-person creative meetings (studio, café, workspace, or shoot locations)
• Be able to collaborate closely with the creative team on content planning and brand development
What We’re Building
We are building brands that do not look like everything else in the space.
Our goal is to create visual identities and campaigns that stand out — work that feels elevated, intentional, and culturally relevant.
We care deeply about taste, aesthetics, storytelling, and visual detail.
We’re looking for someone who naturally understands that world and wants to contribute to it.
How to Apply
Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
Every part of the application helps us understand your creative perspective.
Required
• Résumé
• Portfolio or examples of creative work
• Instagram or social media accounts (if relevant)
• Previous work samples or projects
Strongly Encouraged
• A brief creative concept (1 page maximum)
• A personal editorial concept, mood board, or visual idea
Your creative concept can be anything, such as:
• A campaign concept
• A brand idea
• A visual theme for a collection
• A marketing or content concept
It does not need to be about our company.
We simply want to see how you think creatively.
Application Timeline
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
Early submissions are prioritized.
Only candidates who strongly align with the creative vision will be contacted.
If you want, I can also give you a much stronger version specifically designed to attract Parsons / FIT / Miami fashion creatives instead of typical Indeed interns, which will dramatically improve the quality of applicants.
Working Style & Expectations
This role is designed for someone who is highly self-sufficient, proactive, and able to work independently.
We are looking for someone who takes initiative, stays organized, and is comfortable managing creative tasks without constant supervision.
While the role is primarily self-directed, we maintain consistent communication and collaboration through:
• Weekly in-person or virtual check-in meetings
• Ongoing creative collaboration and feedback sessions
• Structured guidance during the onboarding process
Onboarding
New interns will complete a 1–3 day onboarding period to review workflows, expectations, creative standards, and current projects.
After onboarding, the role transitions into a more independent working structure, with regular weekly check-ins and collaboration as needed.
This position is ideal for someone who is motivated, organized, and passionate about fashion, marketing, and visual storytelling, and who enjoys contributing ideas while also executing tasks independently.
