Description:
• Use source tools to identify and monitor incidents and potential threats globally.
• Determine which events meet criteria for impacting customer safety or business continuity.
• Communicate critical information with urgency and provide updates as needed.
• Ensure information is delivered with a high level of accuracy and speed.
• Work with the Global Intelligence team to update sources and improve monitoring coverage.
• Make quick, thoughtful decisions under pressure about information that may be critical to customers.
• Collaborate with a larger team while also working independently on assigned tasks.
Requirements:
• 2+ years of professional business experience in roles requiring analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience as a security or intelligence analyst, in news media, or a similarly mission-focused role is preferred.
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills with the ability to evaluate situations and prioritize effectively.
• General knowledge of current events.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and the ability to learn and use a variety of tools and systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a larger team.
• A willingness to give and receive feedback on product, process, and performance.
• Ability to commit to the Wed-Sat, 2:00pm-12:00am CT shift, with flexibility for evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Austin-based candidates or U.S. remote candidates are eligible.
• Existing authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Language skills are a plus.
