UGC Content Creator Content Studio (New York / Governors Ball 2026) Position Overview Support our adult beverage client's UGC Content Studio as an on-the-ground Content Creator for Governors Ball 2026 in New York. You will produce authentic, high-energy user-generated video and photo assets that capture the festival experience, highlight the brand, and perform strongly on short-form social platforms. This role combines field production at live events with fast-turnaround editing and platform-aware storytelling to deliver content that engages music fans and drives brand awareness. You will work with a Social Strategist to translate content calendars and strategies into creative, engaging content that resonates with adult 21-35 audiences who love music events and sports. Candidates must be fully available to help during the Governors Ball Music festival (June 4-7). We are anticipating around 20-30 hours of billable work. Key Responsibilities • The Social Content Creators will work with a Social Strategist to translate content calendars and strategies into creative, engaging content that resonates with adult 21-35 audiences who love music events and sports and are tapped into popular culture. • Candidates must be able to capture and turn around content in a live setting, sharing captured, edited content with Strategist and Client Stakeholders in real time. • Plan and produce short-form UGC (15-90s) video and photo content on-site at Governors Ball Fest and related Nashville activations, following brand briefs and campaign goals. • Shoot engaging vertical and square video using smartphones and mirrorless cameras; capture candid interviews, b-roll, product moments, and crowd reactions. • Edit and deliver platform-ready content quickly (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Snapchat), applying pacing, captions, sound selection, and on-screen graphics as required. • Implement creative concepts and execute the Social Content Strategist's direction while contributing original ideas that align with the brand voice and festival environment. • Manage media assets, file organization, and timely uploads to the studio's asset management system or shared drives. • Coordinate talent releases and obtain permissions when necessary; ensure all content meets legal and brand compliance standards. • Monitor content performance and provide brief post-event insights and optimizations based on engagement metrics and audience feedback. • Work collaboratively with on-site teams, event staff, and other creators to maximize access and storytelling opportunities while representing the brand professionally. • Maintain and troubleshoot field gear (phones, stabilizers, microphones, batteries) and ensure consistent visual and audio quality under fast-paced conditions. Qualifications • 3+ years creating UGC, short-form social content, or event-based video for brands or publishers (portfolio or links required). • Proven experience shooting and editing vertical-first video optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Snapchat, and YouTube Shorts. • Proficiency with on-device and desktop editing tools (examples: CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere Rush, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro). • Strong storytelling sense with the ability to deliver fast turnaround, high-quality edits under tight deadlines. • Comfortable working in a busy festival environment, standing/walking for long periods, and managing multiple shoots per day. • Excellent communication skills, collaborative mindset, and ability to follow creative briefs while contributing original ideas. • Familiarity with social media trends, platform best practices, and basic analytics to inform content choices. • Must be available to work in Nashville during Governors Ball Fest 2026 dates and able to travel independently to the event (local candidates preferred). • Preferred: experience with music or live-event coverage, basic audio capture techniques, and prior UGC work for consumer brands.
