Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in a remote work capacity. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and support diverse civil engineering projects across various sectors, including water treatment, wastewater management, land surveying, and infrastructure development. Responsibilities • Develop and review detailed project schematics, drawings, and system designs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and other CAD software tools • Coordinate project scheduling and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of engineering projects • Conduct construction management activities including site inspections, quality assurance, and compliance monitoring • Prepare accurate construction estimates utilizing construction estimating techniques and tools such as Mathcad and HEC models • Utilize GIS platforms like ArcGIS and GIS-based tools such as SWMM for spatial analysis and environmental modeling • Oversee system design processes for pipelines, hydraulics, geotechnical engineering projects, and water/wastewater treatment systems • Draft comprehensive technical reports, specifications, and documentation to support project proposals and regulatory submissions • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project engineering tasks including land surveying, system schematics, and construction inspection Skills • Proficiency in project scheduling software and construction management tools to oversee multiple projects efficiently • Expertise in CAD programs including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit, and drafting techniques for civil engineering drawings • Strong knowledge of GIS platforms such as ArcGIS and spatial analysis tools like SWMM for environmental planning • Experience with construction estimating methods and project management principles to ensure budget adherence • Familiarity with hydraulic modeling software (HEC-RAS), system design tools (Mathcad), and geotechnical engineering concepts • Ability to perform detailed construction inspection activities ensuring compliance with safety standards and specifications • Excellent technical writing skills for preparing reports, schematics, specifications, and project documentation • Knowledge of land surveying practices and water/wastewater treatment processes to support infrastructure projects Join us in shaping resilient infrastructure through innovative civil engineering solutions!
