Role Overview We’re hiring a fully-remote Certified Bookkeeper/Accountant to support PCM Tax, LLC, our in‑house tax and accounting practice that partners closely with our wealth management and private investment teams. This role is focused on providing hands‑on bookkeeping and accounting execution for our PCM clients as well as internally across the PCM Family Office ecosystem — building out the internal bookkeeping and accounting function, managing day‑to‑day transactions, reconciliations, journal entries, payroll processing (including union payroll), and supporting month‑ and year‑end close. The work will span full‑cycle accounting activities, including maintaining accurate general ledgers, supporting AP/AR, and producing core financial reports such as trial balances, income statements, and balance sheets. Ideally someone who is comfortable working across QuickBooks (QBO), Xero, Sage, and Excel, and who enjoys bringing structure and accuracy to complex financials while partnering closely with an in‑house tax team. Responsibilities: • Managing/recording day-to-day transactions • Document transactions and perform bank and account reconciliation to verify financial data accuracy • Generate financial reports (including trial balances, income statements and balance sheets) • Prepare and post accurate journal entries • Process payroll and related tax payments • Support month-end and year-end close activities • Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records • Assist with full-cycle accounting functions as needed Required Qualifications • Proven experience processing payroll • Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Ability to prepare and post journal entries accurately • Solid understanding of full-cycle accounting • Experience in a construction accounting environment strongly preferred • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Software proficiency: QuickBooks (QBO), Xero, Sage, and Microsoft Excel
