Job Description As a Senior Project Scheduler for Capital Projects, you will apply your technical skills to support project teams and client needs in developing and maintaining project schedules while monitoring project performance. This includes direct interaction with project management, client leadership, engineering, construction, and other stakeholders to build detailed schedules for scopes of work associated with electric capital infrastructure projects. Using industry and proprietary tools-including Primavera P6-you will: • Implement project controls tools and methodology • Develop and support project schedule requirements per client procedures and best practices • Perform critical path analysis, provide schedule insights, and recommend corrective actions • Support schedule contingency management and collaborate with stakeholders to identify and manage project risks • Provide regular project updates and report deviations from the approved baseline • Proactively manage schedule variances and maintain a questioning attitude toward deviations • Support month‑end closing and phase‑gate processes • Ensure standardized file locations exist for all schedule documents • Produce look‑ahead schedules, actuals, and schedule quality reports • Assemble supporting documentation to meet project team and client needs • Analyze data and build reports to support monitoring and decision‑making • Interface regularly with project management to support schedule performance tracking • Interface with cost analysts to develop time‑phased cost forecasts • Potentially travel to client offices for project coordination meetings MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant Essential Skills and Experience • Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software • Familiarity with project controls principles and practical application • 5+ years of project experience • Post‑secondary • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to multitask and interact effectively with project team members, clients, and vendors at all levels • Motivation: Eager to learn, proactive in developing new skills, and committed to producing accurate, high‑quality deliverables with strong attention to detail • Computer Skills: Strong working knowledge of MS Office, especially advanced MS Excel and/or MS Access for creating detailed, interactive reports, spreadsheets, and databases Valued but Not Required Skills and Experience • Engineering internship, co‑op, or work experience involving project controls, project planning, scheduling, or earned value performance, preferably in the power industry • Professional development toward: • i.) AACE CST or PMI equivalent • ii.) AACE CCP, CEP, PSP, PRMP, EVP, or PMI equivalent • iii.)
