California Residing Virtual SLP

Edustaff's Spotlight Program is seeking California-licensed Speech-Language Pathologists who reside in California and are interested in a 1099 virtual opportunity supporting students in school settings. This role allows you to deliver high-quality speech and language services to students with IEPs and 504 plans while maintaining flexibility and autonomy as an independent contractor. What You'll Do: As a valued member of the Edustaff Spotlight team, you will: • Conduct virtual speech and language evaluations using approved online assessment tools • Develop and support IEPs, including goal writing and progress monitoring • Provide engaging teletherapy services addressing articulation, language, fluency, social communication, and cognitive-communication needs • Track, document, and report student progress in compliance with district and state requirements • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school teams to support student success • Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations • Stay current on teletherapy best practices and school-based service delivery expectations Compensation & Role Details: • starting at $55 per hour (1099 independent contractor) • Flexible scheduling within school hours • Fully remote / work from home • Paid per hour of service delivered (therapy, meetings, and documentation as applicable per assignment) Who You Are: • Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program • Active California SLP license required (must reside in CA) • Carry professional liability insurance • Experience in school-based speech-language services preferred • Comfortable with technology and virtual service delivery • Organized, reliable, and able to manage a caseload independently • Strong communicator who collaborates effectively with school teams Important Notes: • This is a 1099 independent contractor position • Benefits such as health insurance, PTO, and 401(k) are not included • Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and benefits Ready to Shine?
