C# Developer || Contract to hire || Hybrid || Richmond, VA

• Position title: C# Developer/Programmer Analyst 3 • Location: Richmond, VA • Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire • Work Mode: Hybrid • Interview Mode: First Video then in-person JOB DESCRIPTION: • The Client is searching for a quality C# developer to program, maintain code, and .NET solutions for our business. In this role, you will be required to design, write, and maintain C# program code for our future and ongoing projects. The candidate will also be required to contribute to design and planning sessions as well as formulate approaches for current coding tasks. • The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications in C#/Angular/SQL Server. Candidates must describe experience with large menu driven business systems, such as claims processing, payroll, medical, or insurance type applications. • The candidate will be knowledgeable in transferring data between application screens, selecting and scrolling through large amounts of data, add/update/delete order-entry type of transactions, and building new screens and reports. They do not use API's. • C# Developer Responsibilities: • Developing C# .NET solutions for the organization. • Creating in-house applications using the.NET framework. • Debugging and maintaining written code (no API's). • Defining and organizing projects on an ongoing basis. • Reporting and resolving issues related to .NET projects. • Identifying and handling technical risks and issues. • Working in a project team alongside other developers. • Providing technical support to stakeholders in the organization. • Reporting on project statuses and developments to senior team members. • Participating in project meetings with management and other team members. • C# Developer Requirements: • C#, .NET 3.1 (or higher) • Angular (gRPC would be a plus) • SQL Server • Visual Studio/Visual Studio Code • Knowledge of build and deployment repositories such as Azure Dev Ops or Git Hub. • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a C# programmer or developer. • Knowledge of other coding-languages (COBOL, PHP, C+, Java, Python, Coldfusion, etc.) would be a plus. • Ability to write clean, easy to understand code. • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently and complete projects with minimal supervision. • * Experience with ColdFusion would be nice to have but not necessary. • Sound understanding of coding and development processes. • Experience with working in an agile environment. • Required Skills • Angular 2 Years • C# Programming experience (no API's) 5 Years • SQL Server - 3 Years • Experience with large menu driven business systems, such as claims processing, payroll, medical, or insurance type applications - 5 Years • gRPC - 1 Years • Visual Studio / Visual Studio Code - 3 Years • T-SQL - 1 years • .NET 3.1 or higher - 1 years Nice to Have: Coldfusion - 1 year
