Business Development Representative (BDR) – QuickBooks & Intuit Solutions
Position Summary
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a high-energy, revenue-focused member of the sales team responsible for creating opportunities, building relationships, and driving product sales from conversation to close.
This role combines fast response to inbound leads with proactive outbound outreach to prospective and existing customers. The BDR will focus primarily on selling QuickBooks and Intuit products, while also identifying opportunities for related solutions and services that support the client’s accounting, financial, and operational needs.
As one of the first points of contact for many clients, the BDR plays a key role in setting the tone for the customer’s experience. This person knows how to connect quickly, ask smart questions, uncover business needs, recommend solutions, and move customers toward a purchase or the appropriate next step.
The BDR is not just qualifying leads — they are actively engaging customers, positioning products, creating urgency, following up with purpose, and closing or advancing sales opportunities. When a client needs become more complex, the BDR will coordinate with the appropriate Account Executive, consultant, or internal expert to ensure the customer receives the right guidance and solution.
This role is ideal for someone who is competitive, driven, adaptable, and relationship focused. The right candidate enjoys sales, thrives on activity, follows up consistently, and is motivated by turning conversations into revenue while helping businesses choose the right solutions.
