Job Description Summary:
ModMed is seeking a BCP/DR Program Manager focused on establishing and overseeing the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Program for ModMed.
The BCP/DR Program Manager will assist the Chief Information Security Officer in leading and maturing the organization's BCP/DR practices.
Your Role:
1: Strategy & Planning
• Design, implement, and maintain the overarching BC/DR program, including policies, standards, and procedures.
• Develop and maintain a BCP/DR roadmap that aligns with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to ensure that all BC/DR documentation, including contact lists and inventories of critical assets, is current and aligned with organizational changes.
2: Risk Management
• Oversee and conduct BIAs and risk assessments across all departments to identify critical business functions, acceptable outage times (RTOs), and required recovery points (RPOs).
• Lead efforts to establish an industry-standard-based BCP/DR Program at ModMed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (E.g., HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI, etc.)
3: Testing & Maintenance
• Schedule and coordinate regular BC/DR exercises, including tabletop simulations and full-scale recovery tests for various scenarios.
• Document test results, identify gaps, and manage remediation efforts to ensure plan effectiveness.
4: BCP/DR Incident Management
• Act as the primary BC/DR contact during an actual incident, coordinating communication and activities across internal teams, executive leadership, and external partners.
5: Reporting and Compliance
• Report on program readiness, compliance status (e.g., ISO 22301, HIPAA), and audit findings to executive leadership.
• Develop and deliver BC/DR training and awareness materials for employees at all levels.
Skills & Responsibilities:
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent education and experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in managing or working within a BCP/DR program
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and BCP/DR programs.
• Process-oriented mindset with a track record of building sustainable business processes.
• Strong knowledge of BCP/DR best practices and frameworks (e.g., ISO 22301, NIST).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information to executive management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and thrive under pressure.
