Compensation: $125k to $145k (DOE) + incentives

This position is ideal for a litigation attorney who can manage active matters, drive strategy, and execute independently while collaborating with leadership and a strong support team.
What You’ll Do
• Manage business litigation and employment defense matters
• Draft and respond to discovery (ROGs, RFPs, RFAs)
• Take and defend fact and expert depositions
• Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions and motions in limine
• Participate in settlement negotiations and ADR
• Advise clients on litigation strategy, risks, and outcomes
• Collaborate with firm leadership and an experienced support team
What We’re Looking For (Required)
• JD from an accredited law school
• Active California Bar license in good standing with a clear record
• 4+ years of business litigation and/or employment defense litigation experience
• Proven experience handling discovery and depositions independently
• Strong command of California civil procedure and evidence
• Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
• Self-directed, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a remote environment
This is not a training role. Candidates must be able to contribute immediately with minimal supervision.
Long-term fit matters: We are looking to build a lasting team. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate consistent employment history and reliability, as this role is intended to transition into a longer-term placement for the right attorney.
