About the position
Church & Dwight is seeking a Brand Manager to join their team. This role is responsible for executing a licensing growth strategy to transition selected licensed SKUs into core C&D businesses. This role bridges brand strategy, business operations, and cross-functional collaboration, acting as a key driver in enabling successful go-to-market plans, streamlining processes, and building category expertise. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership, and brings a strategic mindset with the ability to operate nimbly across functions.
Responsibilities
• Lead the transition and integration of 100+ licensed SKUs from licensee to core ownership within the C&D business systems, ensuring seamless integration across functions.
• Co-lead day-to-day business management including forecasting, P&L management, and performance reporting for transitioned and TAG-led products.
• Develop briefs for necessary efficacy improvements as well as next generation product renovations, line extensions and packaging updates in close coordination with R&D, Regulatory, Operations, and Supply Chain.
• Own and manage the internal review process to ensure compliance across product claims, packaging, and regulatory.
• Assist in the development and execution of brand strategies and partner with sales strategy and RGM on price-pack architecture to sustain and unlock future growth across under-leveraged, previously licensed categories.
• Serve as the internal category(s) expert by leveraging Circana data, competitive intelligence, and consumer insights to shape strategic direction.
• Partner closely with key functional teams—Contract Manufacturing, R&D, Finance, Procurement, and Project Management—to ensure project milestones and business objectives are met.
• Collaborate on internal and external presentations to align stakeholders and support go-to-market initiatives across all channels.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in brand management, product management, or business operations
• CPG experience a plus.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage complex projects to execution.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a highly entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
