Job description: Remote Civil Litigation Attorney – DefenseA well-established national law firm is actively seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join its growing team. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and autonomy, while still fostering a highly collaborative, professional environment. You’ll be working alongside experienced litigators on a variety of complex matters and will be supported in your continued professional growth.Key Responsibilities:Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters from inception to resolutionConduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal memorandaRepresent clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrationsDevelop litigation strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys and clientsMaintain strong, long-term client relationships through effective communication and serviceStay current with procedural rules and case law relevant to assigned mattersQualifications:J.D. from an accredited law schoolActive license to practice law (in good standing) in CaliforniaMinimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience, preferably with a focus on defense-side mattersExperience handling all phases of litigation, including discovery, law and motion, and trial preparationStrong legal research and writing skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple deadlinesHigh attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive mindsetComfortable using case management software and working in a paperless environment
Expected salary: $160000 per year
