Arabic Linguist (Full-Time, U.S. Citizen Required)

• *Position Overview** We are seeking a highly skilled Arabic Linguist to support translation, content development, and digital communications efforts. This role requires a native-level Arabic speaker with strong English proficiency and extensive experience in translation, publishing, and cross-cultural communication. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Arabic-speaking regions, including cultural, political, and societal dynamics, and experience producing high-quality written and multimedia content. • *Key Responsibilities • Translate, edit, and proofread materials between Arabic and English with a high degree of accuracy and cultural nuance • Develop and publish digital content across websites and social media platforms • Manage and maintain online content using tools such as WordPress and Adobe Creative Cloud • Create multimedia content including text, images, audio, and video • Publish and manage foreign-language social media content • Conduct social media analytics and produce performance reports • Ensure all content aligns with organizational messaging and communication goals • *Required Qualifications • *Citizenship • Must be a U.S. Citizen • Education & Accreditation • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, International Relations, or a related field • (Applicants with other degrees may qualify with relevant experience) • Accreditation from a recognized professional body (e.g., American Translators Association (ATA) or equivalent) • *Translation Experience** Must meet at least one of the following: • Experience in a full-time translation or editing role at a federal agency, international organization, or translation company • Experience translating public diplomacy materials • Minimum 5 years of full-time professional translation experience (including freelance) • *Language Requirements • Native proficiency in Arabic (written and spoken) • Native or near-native proficiency in English • *Knowledge & Expertise • Strong understanding of U.S. foreign policy as it relates to Arabic-speaking regions • Deep knowledge of the culture, society, and political systems of Arabic-speaking communities • *Preferred Qualifications** • Experience supporting government or public sector communications initiatives • Familiarity with public diplomacy or international outreach programs Experience working with multicultural or international teams Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year Benefits • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
