Position Summary
The Analyst, Population Health reports to the Director, Stars Part D and is responsible for supporting Oak Street Stars efforts for Part D measures.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, enjoys solving challenging problems, uses data to drive insights, and excels in a fast-paced environment. This will be a core role requiring cross-team collaboration within Stars Team and other corporate teams (e.g., Pharmacy, Product, Informatics etc.), partnership with clinical and operational field leaders, and regular communication with senior leadership.
Core Responsibilities:
Performance Analysis: Regularly analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to enhance ratings. Draw insights from performance data and highlight areas of opportunity by market for field leaders and Oak Street’s senior leadership team.
Operational Reporting: Prepare clear and concise reports and dashboards to ensure day-to-day operations at Oak Street support Stars goals. Identify opportunities for improvement.
Internal Data Quality: Regularly review escalations from stakeholders regarding data quality. Partner with Product and Informatics to improve data quality.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
1 - 3 years of prior relevant experience
Strong interpersonal skills that support effective stakeholder engagement
Strong written communication skills; highly proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint
Analytical and data savvy; highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, SQL is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in consulting or healthcare startups is ideal but not required
Passion for excellence, willing to go the extra mile to achieve objectives and ensure consistently high quality work product
Quick learner comfortable with a high level of ambiguity
Ability to succinctly summarize and synthesize large amounts of information
Strong accountability and discipline against timelines and deliverables
Collaborative working style, able to work cross functionally

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$43,888.00 - $93,574.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
