Your ability to establish trust with a parent during the opening moments of a phone call will determine your success in this position. This role suits someone who finds energy in outreach work, maintains consistent follow-up habits, and can articulate a nontraditional learning model without leaning on scripts. If phone-based conversations drain you or you prefer positions without measurable performance indicators, this opportunity will not align with your strengths.
Unbound Academy operates as a virtual, tuition-free public charter school with a distinctive educational model. Core academics are completed in concentrated time blocks using AI-enhanced learning tools, allowing students to dedicate the remainder of their day to real-world skill development through enrichment and project-based work. You will serve as the first substantive contact point for families considering this alternative.
Your weekly responsibilities will include responding promptly to incoming inquiries, shepherding families through each stage of the admissions pathway, and converting initial curiosity into confirmed enrollment. You will also attend and present at local community events to cultivate new leads and raise visibility for Unbound Academy in your region. During quieter enrollment periods, you will support broader school operations while remaining prepared for the next application cycle.
If you seek a position where your communication skills, accountability, and initiative directly influence student recruitment outcomes, we would like to speak with you.
What You Will Be Doing
• Reaching out to new inbound leads within 24 hours to begin the admissions dialogue via phone
• Articulating Unbound Academy's virtual learning structure and enrollment procedures in straightforward, accessible terms
• Maintaining disciplined follow-up to advance families from inquiry through application to completed enrollment
• Recording all family interactions in a CRM system with detailed notes, planned next actions, and updated pipeline status
• Planning and facilitating local recruitment events across Texas or Arizona to introduce the school and gather prospective family information
What You Won’t Be Doing
• Allowing incoming leads to remain uncontacted while prioritizing administrative tasks
• Relying on scripted language or functioning as part of a transactional, high-volume call operation
• Participating in events as an observer rather than an active presenter and lead generator
• Devoting most of your time to internal operations when enrollment activity is high
