About the position
Teach Foundations of Multicultural Education courses for secondary education and elementary education programs (Sc Ed 353 and El Ed 203). Candidate must be available to teach on-campus daytime classes (8am-4pm). Meet appropriate dress and conduct standards as required by the university. This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
Responsibilities
• Teach Foundations of Multicultural Education courses for secondary education and elementary education programs (Sc Ed 353 and El Ed 203).
• Candidate must be available to teach on-campus daytime classes (8am-4pm).
• Meet appropriate dress and conduct standards as required by the university.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Degree must be in elementary education or secondary education, multicultural education, or a related field.
• The required degree must be completed by the start date.
• Expertise in multicultural education at elementary and/or secondary levels.
• Successful experience as a licensed K-12 public school classroom teacher, with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
