Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist

Job Description: • Manage invoicing, payments, and collections while maintaining strong relationships with vendors and clients • Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments • Generate and issue customer invoices in a timely manner • Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up on outstanding payments • Reconcile vendor statements and customer accounts to ensure accuracy • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records • Assist with month-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting • Support cash flow management by tracking incoming and outgoing payments • Help ensure accurate coding of transactions in the general ledger • Identify opportunities to improve AP/AR processes for efficiency and accuracy • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting standards • Assist with audits by preparing documentation and responding to requests • Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies • Partner with accounting and operations teams to streamline workflows • Support implementation and optimization of accounting systems and tools Requirements: • 2–5+ years in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred • Experience with accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems) and proficiency in Excel • Strong accuracy in data entry and financial recordkeeping • Strong verbal and written communication skills for vendor and client interactions • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines • Comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced environment Benefits: • Competitive Salary • Flexible (Unlimited) Paid Time Off • Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits for you and your family • 401(k) Plan • Parental Leave • Fully Remote Work Environment • A Collaborative Culture where your voice matters • Opportunities for Growth & Career Development
